requirements to finish (all parts):

Quests: Tai Bwo Wannai Trio

Skills: 55 fishing, 35 strength, 15 agility, 4 herblore, 5 smithing, and 21 firemaking.

Items: 1+ fishing bait or 1+ Feather(s), axe, bow(not composition), roe or caviar (not until later in the game), one hammer, and one attack potion (2)

other: ability to beat a level302 mithril dragon

recommended: Adamant – Rune armour (to kill level 302), monkfish or shark, ability to use protect against mele prayer

Intoduction:

Barbarian skills are fierce and horrible! Each skill however, is unique in it’s own way.

There are several skills skills, and here what they are, and whats unique about them:

Building a fire without a tinderbox – the ability to make a fire with a bow

Fishing without a harpoon – the ability to harpoon fish with your hand

barbarian fishing – the ability to fish barbarian style and gain fishing, strength, and agility xp (extra points)

barbarian smithing – the ability to make hastas or spears

making fishy dose potions – to make a potion that heals some health and does effect of potion

Beggining:

To start, you need to talk to Otto Godblessed. To get find him, you can use a Games Necklace(1-8). You can buy one at the grand exchange for a little under 1k (1,000). Next, when it is in your inventory, you right click the necklace. Now, you will hit rub. Next you click “Barbarian Outpost”. You will teleport there. You will walk a little south until you see a river with 2 docs going out of it. You should now follow the river to the western side. You should see a tiny hut about 5 feet big in each direction. Now there should be a man in there. That is Otto himself!

I remember That:

After talking to Otto, he will give you a book. Any important stuff he tells you will be recorded in that book. Now you have to chose what part you would like to do first. There is so many, so if the decision is too hard for you, I will make it for you!

Barbarian Fishing:

In my opinion, this is the easiest part. In this part you will need:

* 1+ fishing bait or 1+ feather(s)

* 48 fishing and 15 agility

First, you talk to Otto and ask him how to fish barbarian style (barbarian fishing). He will tell you about barbarian fishing which if you forget, it will be recorded in your book (ohh i knew it had a importance ). To get the fishing rod he tells you about, search Otto’s bed.

To catch a leaping fish, you go a little bit North East, to were the fishing spots are. Now click the fishing spot. Congratulations, your barbarian fishing. You can catch one of three fish at a time. Here’s a list:

To catch a Leaping trout, you need 48 fishing, and 15 strength and agility.

To catch a Leaping Salmon, you need 58 fishing, and 30 strength and agility.

To catch a Leaping Sturgeon, you need 70 fishing and 45 strength and agility.

When you catch a fish, go and tell Otto, and you finished that task! (now don’t think that this whole thing is easy )

Note: You cannot cook Leaping fish, however you can use a knife on them and get roe, fish offcuts, or caviar. You can only get caviar from Leaping Sturgeon. Sometimes you get nothing. You can use fish offcuts for barbarian fishing bait, or sell it at the grand exchange for 1-4 gp ea. You can use roe and caviar for fishing bait too, however, you can sell roe for 221 gp at the Grand exchange, and caviar for 400 something at the grand exchange. It may take long, but if you sell a lot of roe or caviar at lowest prices in the grand exchange, you could make a lot of money, such as 21k for 100 roe .

Bare-Hand Fishing (Fishing without a harpoon)

This follows Barbarian fishing, so it will come next.

You need:

* No Items

* 55 fishing and 35 strength

Talk to Otto again to start this task as always. He will tell you to harpoon fish in a normal harpooning location. The place i refer going to is Catherby. You should carry nothing with you and go to a harpooning spot of which you can harpoon. You will now right click the spot and hit harpoon. What the? your hand is bobbing in the water, and wow mate, your hand has a fish on it! Go back to Otto to finish the task. Here are the levels to harpoon each fish:

Tuna – 55 fishing and 35 strength

swordfish – 70 fishing and 50 strength

Shark – 96 fishing and 76 strength

Barbarian Potion Making:

To start this, talk to Otto about it. You will need:

* 1 roe or caviar and a Attack Potion (2)

* Level 4 herblore

This is simple, just add 1 roe or caviar to an attack potion (2) and you will have an attack potion mix (2). Bring it to Otto and your done!

Barbarian Firemaking:

Talk to Otto to start this extremely simple task about Firemaking. You will need:

* 1 Axe or Bow (Not Composition Bow)

* 35 Firemaking

You will need to cut down a oak log (if you want to, instead of a axe, you can bring a oak log). To light the logs, just use the logs with the bow and you will have a fire, bodda bing wadda boom!

Talk to Otto to finish the task. You can know use any log however, the log levels you need is 10 levels higher, for example, if you want to do it with a magic log, you would need 95 woodcutting instead of 85. The extra points are still the same.

Barbarian Smithing:

To do this, talk to Otto.You will need:

* a hammer, 2 specific pieces of wood and metal.

* 5 Smithing

* Completion of Tai Bwo Wannai Trio Quest

Otto will talk about the art of smithing. You must prove to Otto you can make a spear by completing The Tai Wannai Trio Quest. He will now have you make a hasta. To make a spear/hasta, you need the level of that scimitar. I recommend you guys make bronze for all ya noobs out there (no offense), so you will need 2 bronze bars, and 2 normal logs. I recommend you get 4 of each. First you go a bit south of the hut and go to the anvil. Now you can make a spear. Talk to Otto, now make a hasta. Talk to Otto to finish the task. You can now make hastas whenever you want!

Final Task : The Spirits Go To Rest (Ancient Cavern)

you will need to finish each skill to finish each thing. You will need:

* Good Armour

* Monkfish or Sharks

* A good weapon

* Anti Fire Shield

* Ability to kill a level 302 mithril dragon

Part 1:

Talk to Otto about spirits and stuff. Go to were the whirlpool is and jump in. Make sure you have a GREAT weapon, anti fire shield, food, and armour on. Now go and look for a Mithril Dragon upstairs and kill it. it is level 302 and very hard to kill. Get the chewed bones it drops and get out of there!

NOTE: You may not obtain chewed bones the first time you kill a mithril dragon. It could take several tries before you obtain one, so make sure you prepare well enough.

Part 2:

Go to the bank some were, and get your chewed bones if you banked them, a weak axe, and a bow. Go to a spot were ashes appear to be. Click it. You build a ” Pyre Ship” and put the bones in it. You will burn it and it will sail away. The spirits will leave a present back for you. It could even be a dragon medium helmet! Now go talk to Otto to finish barbarian training.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU ARE NOW A BARBARIAN AND POSSES ALL THE BARBARIAN SKILLS!
