The Grand Exchange is designed for players who have this situation. The grand exchange, also helps players NOT get scammed. The grand exchange allows you to put up to 8 items for sale at a time. They give you a price range for each item. For example, a pot’s price range would be 1-3 gp. You can change it’s sales price for 1-3 gp. People from around runescape, can buy those items, and if they do, you obviously get the money they paid. Now, the cool thing is, is unlike stores, because most items, such as a FULL cannon, stores will buy it for under 500k. Were as at the G.E. (Grand Exchange), you can sell for about 600k-750k (depending on current  price).

Buying 3 whips for 4.5 mill

At the G.E. you can use the buy or sell option. To get to these options, you have to go to the center of Varrock. Now walk a little bit North-West until you find a building. This is the Grand Exchange!
